Everything about the generator

What is a motion graphics generator?

A motion graphics generator is a tool that builds animated text, shapes, charts and interface scenes from a short description, so you do not keyframe them by hand. Opus55Vid is an online one: Claude Opus 5.5 writes the animation as code, and the code is rendered on our servers into a 1080p MP4.

It makes designed animation only. There is no filmed footage, no talking avatars and no character-driven story. For the background on how AI-written motion graphics work, read AI motion graphics explained.

How to use a motion graphics generator, step by step

To make motion graphics from text, write one sentence, choose the format and download the result; with Opus55Vid that takes four steps and no software to install.

  1. Describe the video in one or two sentences, and put any exact words or numbers you want on screen in quotes.
  2. Choose a length of 15, 30, 60 seconds, a ratio of 9:16, 16:9 or 1:1, and one of six styles (or let the topic pick one).
  3. Watch the preview, then ask for changes in plain words. The first edit is included, then each edit is 30 credits.
  4. Download the 1080p MP4. It has no watermark, and commercial use is allowed.

What you can generate: text, charts, UI and more

You can generate kinetic typography, shapes, charts and counters, and UI-style mockups, all drawn by code and rendered as video.

  • Kinetic typography — headlines, quotes and key phrases that move in time, with the exact words you give.
  • Charts and counters — bars that grow, numbers that count up, labels that appear on cue.
  • Shapes and diagrams — simple icons, flows and layouts in one of six styles.
  • UI-style mockups — app screens and cards redrawn in the video. You can attach up to 4 reference images, such as a logo or screenshots; they are used as visual reference and redrawn, not placed into the video as-is.

Sound effects are timed to the animation. There is no background music and no voice-over, so add your own when you post. Prefer to start from a plain sentence? See text to animation.

No-code motion graphics vs making them by hand

No-code motion graphics trade fine control for speed: you describe the result and the generator builds it, instead of you writing and debugging animation code.

Doing it yourself with Claude Code and Remotion gives you full access to the project and every line, at the cost of setup, prompting and re-rendering. A generator suits short, designed videos you want today, such as an animated stat, an explainer or a social post. The animation code is still available if you want to edit it. For other routes, see Remotion alternatives with no code. Opus55Vid is not affiliated with Remotion.

What a motion graphics maker costs

A 15-second video costs 100 credits, about $1.98 on the Starter plan, which starts at $9.90 per month for 500 credits (USD).

Questions, answered

Can a motion graphics generator make realistic footage?

No. It makes designed motion graphics: animated text, shapes, charts and UI-style scenes. It does not generate footage of real people or places, talking avatars or character-driven stories.

Do I need to know After Effects or code?

No. You type a sentence in your browser and Opus55Vid writes and renders the animation for you. Nothing to install, and no Claude account is needed.

How do I make motion graphics from text?

Type one or two sentences about the topic, choose a style, length and format, preview the result, then download the MP4. Ask for changes in plain words if something needs adjusting.

What formats and lengths can a motion graphics generator export?

15, 30, 60 seconds, in 9:16 (vertical), 16:9 (landscape) or 1:1 (square), exported as a 1080p MP4 without watermark.

Does it add music or voice-over?

It adds sound effects timed to the animation, such as whooshes and ticks. It does not add background music or voice-over, so add your own in an editor or when you post.

Can I use the videos commercially?

Yes. Commercial use of the videos you make is allowed, and the exported MP4 has no watermark.

Is Opus55Vid made by Anthropic?

No. Opus55Vid is an independent product and is not affiliated with, sponsored or endorsed by Anthropic. It is also not affiliated with Remotion. It uses Anthropic's Claude models to write the animations.
